So people often ask me why I'm not married, especially since I'm always talking about relationships, well here's my answer.

  • Hi!

A question though: what if the woman God has intended for you is one that is "weaker in faith" than you are, and the reason for why God wants you two to be together is for YOU to be the one that is gonna bring HER closer to God? Great to have standards, but be careful not to put limits on God's intentions and plans for you life... Maybe you would like to have that kind of wife, but He has another one prepared for you.

God bless you, love your videos and the work that you do! /Carol, Sweden

  • I love this video! to the listeners...some of you are just not listening to what he is saying you all are listening up to a certain point....stopping it...and commenting on that one part...notice how this man of God is backing everything he is saying with the scriptures...its not like he is saying this out of spite, or that he is cocky, or that he is holier than thou...listen to what he said @ 7:28-7:41...actually listen to the WHOLE video before you comment please..

  • Your describing Jesus.

  • you had me after the first point about the 3B's, and point 4 (who you kick with = it's easier to fall in love when you spend idle time with them even if they're not connected to God) is only too relevant

  • I think your looking for someone who is perfect in Christ. NO ONE is perfect, everyone will sin, everyone will mess up. Two Christians, like you said about the ox, help each other. When she falls, you help her get back on track. When you fall she helps you. Your both in a battle together. Maybe your a little bit pickier becasue you are a pastor and your walk is strong, and I respect that. but maybe you should pray that you open your heart, to more girls, and not judge them for not being perfect

  • God prescribes marriage in His word as an illustration of His love for His people, both to the couple and to the world. "Marriage is glorious, but I got high standards." There's no talk here about redeeming a woman, of serving her and loving her like Christ loved the church. No, you list women in your life like dirty exit ramps, rungs of temptation on a ladder to that Christian superstar God's got for you. Marriage is God's and it's not carnal. Pseudospirituality is.

  • it's really not that difficult...there are plenty of women who are spiritually mature in Christ and are looking for a good man who loves God and wants what they want. we make it overly complicated, so busy scrutinizing, rationalizing and analyzing, and end up doing the very thing you condemn others for doing.

  • Pastor Justin, I agree and its hard being a woman who feels this way because I almost feel like a freak for not obsessing over getting married bc it seems that many women seem to live for marriage and although I too would love to be married it is not my single most important priority and I dont believe I would regret if I didn't get married and it wasn't until earlier this year that I finally met other women who I believe feel the same way!

  • Thank you very much brother Justin. This message is a rare breath of fresh air.

  • Thanks, very encouraging for me, especially now during this holiday period.

  • I OWE HIM MY LIFE, I dont owe marriage my life! Amen!
