wow nice, here in New Zealand there are nice long long beaches but no real desserts to that stuff.

Way cool video. I just drove my 2006 XR650R from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas and back. The Big Red Pig is an awesome beast. Did you break off a mirror on the left side when you laid it down in the dunes? (I like the music.)

good video!!! I normally ride a yz426f but am curious how the heavier xr650L handles in the soft dunes??? Have you experianced any motor problems, I'm looking for a bullet proof enduro???

I think the 650R is unbreakable. I've never ridden a 400 or 450 in the dunes so I can't compare weight. I think a 400/450 would be easier to handle, but my buddy was riding a KTM 950 with no problem...
