I do not own this or intend to profit from this! This is a video created and owned by the Nostalgia Critic, who uses clips own by Disney.

I'm simply posting this for all fans of disney, as the Nostalgia Critic celebrates December by reviewing all of Disney's animated films. This review covers the 11th animated feature from 1949, The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. These are the best known adaptations of the two timeless stories, and each include fantastically dark imagery. And thank god, this is also the last "package film" from Disney. Their return to the magic that made them great is just around the corner!

Enjoy!

  • @ConstantineChernabog a troll.

  • does Brom Bones remind anyone else a little bit of Gaston?

  • love both of these. this version of Sleepy Hollow is great, and the critic is right about Ichabod being a dick... i never noticed. That laugh is classic.

  • @ConstantineChernabog Idk. It looked like he pulled it off of the horse or something at 3:04.

  • I liked the Wind in the Willows adaptation. But I'm not to fond of the Sleepy Hollow adaptation. When I think of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, I expect it to be dark and spooky all the way through. Not wacky and well.... cartoony.

And yes, I think the Headless Horseman in this is awesome!

  • @ConstantineChernabog I don't think that'll happen. Whenever Doug makes those lists, it's specifically regarding his Nostalgia Critic reviews. This is him being himself, so yeah.

  • Oh my god...the headless horseman still scares the crap out of me...and i was evenstupid enough to the watch Tim burton's sleepy hallow where he made the horseman even more scary!!!

  • @prue6967 She does. I would not be sure prised if they recycled her character coloring and design for Cinderella years later.

  • @ConstantineChernabog Maybe in his pocket.

  • The two shorts are really good but wouldn't it have been better to do Ichabod's story first then the wind in the willows?
