I have just ordered this amp, im really looking forward to getting it. What are your thougts on using a 2x12 cab instead? I have a Bogner Alchemist 2x12 cab with a greenback and a g12h in it i hope its suitable.

@jakopet I think that would be a great setup. First off, those two speakers would make for a fantastic mix. Plus, there's a good amount of clean headroom with the TSA15H so hitting the front end with some dirt will really make it shine.

Remember, the FX loop return acts like the input stage of this amp. Meaning, you can place a drive in the loop and then hit that drive with the onboard TS and boost circuit.

Definitely a unique signal path. Good luck!

@ImageRiver Thanks alot for the reply! Just got the amp today and set it up with a Bogner Alchemist 2x12 cab with the forementioned speakers in it and Oh My God it sounds freaking awsome! Just one quick question what is the 2x8 and 2x16 ohm speaker outputs for? Cant really seem to figure it out. The cabinet has two 16 ohm speakers wired in parralel making 8ohms total so i plugged it into the 1x8 ohm output on the amp did i do right?;) I hope so.

@jakopet Yep, that's correct. Basically Ibanez set up the amp so that you could connect two cabs directly from the output taps (like if your cabs didn't have dual plugs.

sorry das ich so lange gebraucht habe ;O)

die cabinets sind von vox v112 closed cabinet. echte low budget teile aber mit dem tsa15 sehr geil. mit anderen cabs hab ich den amp nie gespielt, keine ahnung was da noch passt. die tele hat tyler henderson PUs die tyler für mich individuell gefertigt hat. das spielt ganz sicher auch noch eine rolle.

Nice. I have thias amp. I am really happy with it. It sounds great, is versatile and it does not take over the ntural sound of the guitar. :)

@royalhaha1 did we talk about value/price? the mini mofo costs around the same, and the krank / gigmaster are amps that can do everything from funk to metal. but if you're a blues player, the TSA is awesome, then it's surely one of the best options.
