  • Lol. Too cute. I feel fortunate to have grown up in the Bay Area during that time.

  • Humphrey has a definite proto-hip hop vibe going with the Raiders shirt and the apple core bling.

  • We could use them now. No one thinks for themselves anymore.

  • Oh yes, I remember Charley and Humphrey. So cute!

  • Out of towners don't know shit! These guys were the BOMB!!

  • wish I could remember more scenes of these guys more. Alot of comments say that the show was on during the '70s, mid 70's actually. Check out the 50yr celebration of KTVU, there is a C&H pst called "news from the fence" where Charlie gave the news. One new pice was obviously in 1974, Charlie cites "Prez-eee-dent Nixon".

  • I must be a real mutt. I love to scare the mailman. He has a pretty bad heart condition, 2.

  • @2landscapes i agree

  • Loved this show.

  • I Wonder what ever happened to the pretty little girl that did a peice from back then. The message from it was "PLAYING WITH MY FRIENDS IS GREAT, BUT SOMETIMES I LIKE TO BE ALONE". What I remember the most about it, was a beautiful piano pieceplaying in the back ground. So relaxing.

  • I remember watching these as a child. As an adult, I find these puppets slightly creepy.

  • @StukInBuf according to wikipedia's entry on bill bright, the "i found it" campaign was a christian evangelist effort launched in 1976. i heard that in the bay area several other bumper stickers soon emerged in response to "i found it" - - including "i lost it," "i never had it" and "i don't want it."
