thnx. i have a test over vent setting and also a check off on monday. i never get enough time in lab-wish there was more equipment- and the textbook is the most confusing piece of literature i have ever seen. however this is very easy to understand and helpful for me! thnx again.

@drifter120 Thanks I'll be looking around for a simplified explanation of the waveforms because my MV instructor totally didn't even bother to teach in depth on waveforms. It was VERY lightly brushed over. Apparently, something this instructor does not have a high regard for in managing a patient on a vent (which she plainly stated). It's ridiculous since you need a good understanding to even pass the boards and for patient care. I have already seen it on the NBRC.org practice test.

THank you Sir, you make me so happy, I was very confused before....
Peak and Plateau pressures can be explained in a discussion of waveforms. I plan to do this in the future. Thanks for the suggestion!

Oscillator would be a good topic.
Jeremy, I agree, that beeping sound is annoying, I can imagine how it must be for you, given your recent loss. Keep your head up.
