  • Don't use a tourniquet. Don't cut around the bite marks. Don't suction the bite site. Antivenin is only used in a larger dose after 1. symptoms. 2. a test dose, very small - to see if the patient reacts negatively to it. Antivenin is a major cause of death itself in many cases, as the patient reacts negatively to it - and goes into anaphylactic shock.

  • to think they thought this to be the correct first aid for a snake bite.

    wonder how many people would of lived if they applied current methods?
