Ya but all animals in shelters have been abused or abandoned because they're RESCUES!! and all animals in shelters just want a second chance! They've done nothing wrong so ALWAYS GET A RESCUE AND NEVER EVER A DOG FROM A BREEDER!!! Every dog you buy from a breeder another dog dies in a shelter. Don't kill any more animals!!

well some pet store dogs are from good breeders but not always...but some puppies from shelters hav problems 2! so may have been abused pr wateva and they might have some problems also...but everyone should just be carful i guess....its a chance u take

Why buy a puppy from a mall when 4million dogs and cats are being put down simply because people like you choose to buy and not adopt. You are quite ignorant.

He, checkout the "Pets of Bel Air" website! I quote "Check out some of our available puppies below (while they last" . Are they being more honest than we are meant to think?

no i am not an idiot, i am not a puppy mill suppporter, i've also never been to pets of bel air but the fact is kids cannot take care of an animal let alone a toy breed!! its common sense and to call someone u dont know an idiot i think is very ignorant! are you majoring in animal biology?no I AM so i think i would have a better clue at what actually happend to the poor dog!!!

a puppy from a petshop can be perfectly healthy, but that doesnt change where they came from. Your dog's mother is probably still sitting in a cage with 5 other dogs suffering. NO GOOD BREEDER SELLS TO PETSHOPS! No show breeders sell to petshops. they dont, dont, dont!!!

i
agree

i agree with what you say, but there are also downfalls to some of these things. a breeder can lie, cheat, and disguise whats actually gone on with their animals. akc registering is also a crock. to prove this, a shelter sent in a request to register a "male great dane". it was actually a cow. the akc accept the registration. anyone can register their dogs, so don't let this trick you. but yes, i agree with finding a responsible breeder and rescue.

you are ignoring the true meaning of this video. and the odds are you are going to receive a healthy puppy are much less than receiving a sick one. you say that you should ask where the puppy came from, the store is NOT going to tell you that they got it from a mill. employees of these stores have been told to LIE about the dogs so that they can maximize profit. they don't care about the animals. they care about the money. don't fall into the traps.
dont buy from pet stores, but from good breeders or adopt from a shelter.

I highly doubt full responsiblity of the dogs care was left on the child. Puppy mills do supply must pet stores and they come with a range of problems such as distempter and parvovirus. Even if the dogs were healthy, why buy? Millions of dogs need homes. Adopting saves a life. And don't try to tell me I am wrong, I am majoring in animal science. And I am obviously more intelligent that you are. ;]
