Monderman (3of10) - Drachten Roundabout Traffic

Hans Monderman, Dutch traffic engineer, has been helping towns calm traffic for a couple decades. This is the second clip of a roundabout in Drachten where pedestrians, bikers and drivers share the road peacefully and efficiently.

very very interesting!

i understand that indeed it's gonna be weird when the rest of the town is with signs and this would be the only place without...

but it's good to have it, i guess. In Utrecht bikers and pedestrians also find their own way, no matter what the sign of traffic light says. But that can be dangerous at moments (i have seen)

works great-note the cyclist doesn't even look to the side to make sure the cars have stopped for him, he just expects it. Don't try that in the US.
