Hands Off Social Security

On Nov. 17th 2011 roughly 200 people packed the Senate Budget Committee room and hallway to hear Sens. Bernie Sanders, Barbara A. Mikulski, Ben Cardin and Rosa DeLauro urge the super committee to protect Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

@lths90 It's not that rich's fault per-say and he doesn't blame the rich for going easy on the rich. It's the perception that having more very wealthy is somehow good for the economy when that's simply not true. I think the take home message is that it's not the rich's fault, but it's time they realised how easy life is compared to the rest.

@DKPrepper If you don't spend any money, if everyone doesn't spend money, do you thing there will be an economy to technically go bankrupt in? Money doesn't disappear when you spend it, it's not used up like some natural resource. Money just pushes people to spend their time doing useful things. It's people's time that is valuable, not money, and idleness and low education that are the villains of the economy.

By now, I hope it is clear to everyone that neither the red OR blue team will stop spending more every year until the country goes bankrupt. Why are there people that still support spending??
