CSX Coal Train

Three CSX Diesels pull a coal train south out of Fredericksburg. They stop just after this video for a crew change/lunch(?) at the CSX Shop in Fredericksburg.

Crews are either Brunswick, MD or Baltimore, MD to Richmond, nothing in Fredricksburg, VA except local work and meets, if even that!

Wasn't sure either way... they stopped, the crew got off, went in to the building, came out quite a bit later (long enough for me to go down the road to get another location) and then resumed their trek.

So different from the years the RF&P owned this line.

nice shot of the infamous U323/U324's that come down to SC nearly everyday. Those things almost always pull a knuckle on their trip too. They probably stopped for new dispatcher orders.
