I hope it will too. Personally, I don't like that rape charges are dismissed/dropped after a certain amount of time while other crimes aren't. These are crimes that have real victims and no matter how long it takes/no matter how much time has passed, they deserve justice!

I didn't even know about rape kits until I saw this episode. This episode really opened my eyes.
Makes you sick to see how many untested rape kits are out there. I personally want to thank Mariska, SVU and the JHF for putting this out there for people to see. Hopefully this will make a change.

Thank God for this episode, before it I didn't even know what a backlog is. I do know, and now I realize it's time to put a stop to it. Personally I am going to look up St.Louis's rape, arrest and backlog rape. Then I am going to write to the mayor and personally deliver it, because he only live two blocks away. This has got to stop and we need to make a difference.
