http://BreakBumper.TV @ZevMo walks you through the process of resetting an Android phone to factory settings.

This is helpful if you are selling your phone, giving it to someone else, or because your phone isn't operating correctly.

If you have any questions, contact me in the comments below, or on Twitter: @ZevMo http://twitter.com/zevmo.

The phone used was an HTS Sensation 4G from T-Mobile running Gingerbread 2.3.3 and Sense 3.0.

  • i just want to reset the app store account, a friend of mine gave me his old phone but i cant go into the app store. Is there any way i can just reset that or do i have to still reset the whole phone? I have a HTC Andriod.

  • @hiiORBIT I ran into a similar problem when my marketplace wouldn't launch. If you look that up & follow the directions, it should reset it.

HOWEVER, unless there are specific apps that you didn't want to lose, for whatever reason, I would totally recommend resetting the device.

  • Hi.

For some unexpected reason my bluetooth does not switch on properly. Everytime I try switching it on it says that the settings application has encountered an error and I have to force close it.

Restarting all applications or turning off the phone did not help.

My phone is running on the 2.3.3 Android Gingerbread version.

My anti virus too cannot detect any viruses.

Do you think I should factory reset it?

Or any other help is also welcomed. :)
