@retrorocketboi I needed a "preacher" too, to expound to me the way more perfectly (Rom. 10:14/Acts 18:23-26), because all I knew was the trinity too. And I did to him exactly what you are doing to me. I rejected everything he said because I thought I knew better. But God continued to draw me by His Spirit and I opened myself up to Him and everything that happened to the Apostles in the bible, happened to me too. That is not a coincidence friend, although some may say so, but I know the truth.

@retrorocketboi I thought about my words long and hard. I was part of the "Catholic" then "Evangelical Free" and "non-denominational" churches my whole life. Ever since I was a boy. God has taught me many things about these churches. When I truly set my eyes on Him I was 23 years old and a Correctional Officer. I worked nights at a prison in Oshkosh Wi. I would spend close to 3 or 4 hrs a night reading scripture. I "dug" deep to lay a good foundation and found that the foundation I had was wrong

Stop blaspheming against Christ and saying his propitiation for my sins (or anyone's) is not good enough. Jesus was the willing servant who did the will of the Father; who gave himself for the Church - scripture tells us this.

@retrorocketboi (cont) Do u know why u will die in ur sins if u don't believe that? Because you will have a "propitiation" that is less then flawless. A "sacrifice" that is void. Ur so called "2nd member" which tries to make atonement will not be able to because he is less then perfect, he is the "2nd" member. If Jesus is not God the Father then He cannot make atonement for sins. Titus 2:13 "looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ."

@retrorocketboi They are not "cherry-picked" scriptures. They are the defense of the gospel and I have been led by the Holy Spirit to share them with you. They uphold the identity of Jesus Christ which is the main thing the devil attacks. He hates it that Jesus is God Almighty. If he can prevent people from learning that knowledge, then he can steal their soul into hell. If you do not believe Jesus is God "the Father" (the only God there is) like it says in Jn. 8:24 you will die in your sins.

@swenmanwwjd12 What is frustrating is you jump all around scripture... dodging your mistakes, not answering the passages I give you and never sticking to a single subject very long... only using your UPC cherry-picked verses. You are not even being logical or precise in your statements and placing your own translation & interpretation on passages as I have pointed out to you. Answer this: Who & what is the Son? What Is his nature? When did the Son begin to exist?

@swenmanwwjd12 (cont) How can the "Son of man" be in heaven unless it that means more than the Son is an earthy body? Is human flesh omnipresent? Could his human body have existed before the Son was born? Son of man means "Human One". This title must have more significance. Because he is the Son of God & the Son of man he pre-existed before the incarnation... he only got his body when the keneosis occurred. That does not make him the Father, but "one with the Father" as he said.

@swenmanwwjd12 If the Son came from heaven, why do you Oneness people say he didn't exist until he was conceived in Mary's womb? To come from somewhere means you already existed. Did the Son pre-exist before then? Of course! He is the Word that was WITH God from the beginning! What you do not get is the pre-existence of the Son. Your own leader, David Bernard says the son will end... yet the Lamb is eternal! You guys make the mistake of equating "Son" with "body". (cont)

@retrorocketboi God became a man and taught Himself from heaven. The man He became was/is called the "Son of God." Jesus's own words John 3:13 "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven." This was and is the doctrine of the early church. You trinitarians came out from us when you formed your own concept of God at the council of Nicea. You started coming out even before that because you would not remain in the truth.
