Well, honestly i have not seen the baerenreiter edition, but i dont think editors make diferences of half a bar... i mean ... its 8 semiquavers missing here.... or is the baerenreiter edition half a bar shorter than all the other ones ? is the bar no.59 in 2/4 while the whole etude is in 4/4 ? please forgive me if my answer is rude i have no intetion to be disrespectful just tryng to make my point. ok?

Im nobody to criticize mister Joshua Roman he's one of the best cellist of our time and im sorry to point this out but .....isn't he missing the last two beats of bar 59 ?

yes please mister roman, if you could answer this question , the one who noticed this was my father , who has practiced this etude for years evrey day,..so?im a violinist and i know this etude by heart ...i mean no disrespect. you are a fantastic musician but , is he right or not?
