I've meet mike tyson a few times, and the man is no taller than 5'10. I'm 5'11 and with sneakers I'm about 6 and mike was considerably shorter when he wore flat shoes, Maybe 5'10. But the point is that although he was shorter and much shorter than hayes, he was alot more effective in comming in, but also alot more effective than hayes was at landing shots by countering and speed than hayes was. So Hayes being smaller means nothing when a man who was shorter than you was more effective.

Hayes did a great job at protecting him self..but that's it. I watched that fight countless times, he failed to land a clean combo on klit caue he was never bale to come in. He was driven by fear. He came into the ring hoping he can do something, but after 30 seconds he realized he won't so he realied on movoment and to avoid getting hit. He fell numerous times when attempting to come in with shots. Frankly put, he just doesn't have the tools to be a heavyweight champ.

@nmannering0132 Nah typical boxers that get the ego after a few KOs, he basically said it after the fight that the only way he could have won against Klitschko was if he would come close enough to him that he could knock him out and all that talk before the fight pretty much 3yrs talk was just to get him to come after him. Even Mike Tyson said Haye should avoid the Klitschkos untill later in his career. Haye dont even throw proper punches sometimes big arm flicking jab
