True KMSK58,college is for rich kids or intelligent kids, BUT during Vietnam IF not in high school or college YOU had to put your name in the selective service draft. Still law to this day!, when we turn 18 we are required to fill out a selective service card, OR will not EVER be eligible for grants,funds,programs, or any other gov't assistance. IF they ever need troops to send overseas THOSE not in college will be the first to be drafted. I think that is what Kerry was trying to say!

Since when is a college education considered the norm or even educated only 75 percent of the general population has a high school degree where 90 percent plus of the military has at LEAST a high school degree and they work with more technology than most college grads get real the military is not dumb.

Hate to say this numbskull has a point, but the first kids they will draft (if it is ever reinstated!!!) will be kids NOT in college, age 18-26 years
