yeah thats ridiculous. i mean like he said 1500% is ridiculous. maybe like 15% or something like that but, yeah you cant raise the taxes on anything else 1500% without having some sort of coup on your hands.

All parties agree - beer is good. Do not tax it. Or we will all be mad.

The tax problem is not just beer -----its government not cutting back and balancing their own budget------time for a Tea Party ------ and a new look at Nanny State Government :):):)

Wasnt it the CHRISTIAN CONSERVATIVES that banned alcohol???
-
Otis next door will hve bathtub gin for 20.00 per jar. Surrounding states will profit from their stupidity too. The new economy would be based on people smuggling lessor taxed goods into the state for cash they wont pay any taxes on.
-
No, they will buy homemade bathtub gin from otis next door for 20.00 per jar instead. You progressives are probably the worlds dumbest people. There was a time when people like you banned all alcohol outright. It didnt go away, it became the economy instead thanks to the massive organized crime profits it generated.

They will create another prohibition era crime wave. Some democratic peoples tax threats towards alcohol have gone as high as 20,000%. Imagine the danger of driving the budweiser truck if each bottle of beer in your trailer was worth more than a gold bar. The tax wont increase revenue, it will build a multi billion dollar organized crime trade instead. We dont get revenue from them.

GOOD!!
They shouldnt be drinking booze anyway! Maybe this tax will give them more reasons to quit and start drinking water.

They shouldnt be drinking booze anyway. They can live a healthier life from drinking water. No one is forcing them to drink. If they dont like the beer tax, DONT BUY BEER!
What kind of evil, wicked monster would tax the precious golden ale. That old dude sucks.
