Short trip to suburb of Linwood Christchurch Canterbury passing Linwood Highschool on a Saturday afternoon. listening to the radio, , the lights were in our favour, so we started rolling, just as a superb tune comes on the radio by the Black Eyed Peas. You can tell its June, the sun is so low in the sky, tyhat was about midday probably, the sun only rises to 23 degrees above the horizon, so your own shadow is 2.5 times as long as yourself. The clear weather makes it look beautiful. Chch has that sparkling weather in the winter, when theres not snow or 6 degree southerly rain. Its probably about 8 -12 degrees in that video.

It always cracks me up when I'm back in Chch and you can jsut drive around with no traffic, no waiting. It's great. Try driving across town in Melbourne sometime

Wow nice looking drive !! No red lights, no tailgating the pavement is perfectly smooth. Can't wait to come visit you.

It'll be five to ten years before we can streamline our way around this city again. We used to have the most beautiful roads but now they're so bad they rattle small parts off your car.

Perceptive people rock!. Yes..That was about 2 winters ago. Guess youtoobz really just another way of preserving NZ history. Film what you can of NZ, especially old areas, ( and the terrible ones too ), especially what you can from the Victorian era..because very sadly, it's constantly being demolished.!
