After the loss of Sasha, our Doberman; there definitely was a part of life that was missing. I wanted to help a dog in need; I wanted to do something good; I know there are many dogs and cats that are confined in small cages in shelters just waiting for a good home. One night while on the computer I was browsing through profiles of dogs on the website "Pet Finder". Just out of curiosity, I entered my parent's zip code on the Pet Finder website; and then I saw this beautiful pup's photo; I asked my sister if she knew where the Charlottesville, Va. SPCA Shelter was, and she said it was close to the Veterinary Hospital that she works at. I asked if she would be able to take a look at a dog there in her free time; and she did. Prior to that, the adoption application was filled out online to get the ball rolling, as out of state adoptions are not preferred or allowed most of the time. Thanks for working with us, Charlottesville SPCA! You guys are doing great work there.
