Thank you for posting this. I have a friend whose son was killed by a drunk driver and she did not get ANY KIND OF PUNISHMENT!!! Not only was she drunk, but she chose to run a red light. Thanks again for sending out such a strong message. Hope more people realize what is going to happen if they drink and drive. That is why I am the DD (Designated Driver) for several people. So they will not have to go through the mourning after.

The majority of people arent getting convicted of DUI for being a danger, theyre getting convicted because its easy money for the state, Idiots like you will never see this of course, and add grist for the mill. Lets make it um, 25000 dollars first conviction and make the BAC .08. Never mind that in a court of law .05 is stone sober, lets make it ,04 for commercial drivers. Then, lets make at our discretion for the remainder.

I know idiot mexicans that have an accident every 3 months. Now whos a better driver, someone who has never had an accident or one who compiles a wreck a month? There is a witch hunt going on here and the public is completely unaware. The soccer mom with 2 glasses of wine is not the indian who drinks a 30 pk and drives 100 down the wrong side of the road.

See, the fact is that just because youve had a few drinks doesnt mean youre impaired. Ive been drinking and driving for 20 years and never have had a single accident. Ever. So I guess I should be in jail for 10 years at 35k a year cost to taxpayers huh?
