I found some "split screen duets" on YouTube and thought it was cool. So, here's my first attempt. This is Johann Sebastian Bach's 2nd Invention in C-Minor, originally written for harpsichord. I'm a jazz player, so I'm happy to get your advice.

  • You have great tone! A LOT better than mine.

  • nice one!

  • I love your tone! I've just started looking at these for duets with my teacher on Alto and Tenor. One thing he pointed out was that originally being written for harpsichord, the note values would typically be shorter, as to sustain a note on a harpsichord you need to hold the key down. If you look at the original versions of these, they are played a lot more staccato when the notes aren't tied or of a value longer than a quaver. But otherwise, great job!

  • Great Job!

  • Fantastic idea mate!
