I agree with most of what you say...but there have been plenty of times when people have done the job (in non-title matches admittedly) to 'local boys' below their card position. Triple H has laid down for Jerry Lawler over and over in Memphis...it's about respect. PCO and Nash clearly had none for each other.

well, brett left for wcw, and he rufesed to lose to shawn, so what should they do, let him leave as champion? like mike awesome did, they had to screw him over, its brett's own fault

@untuchable0417 Bret had never screwed Vince over before and helped lead the company after the Hogan era. So why would he screw him over now? Plus its a well known fact that the Kliq held alot of wrestlers down. Thats why when Hall left for a brief skint in ECW he boys threw him out the locker room and told him to f off cause he had wrecked so many careers!

1.PCO lied when he said he was told he was getting the title. He was a midcard jobber, no way would he even have gotten a dq win over Diesel. He never even got a televised IC title shot......
2. Nash was the company's biggest star at the time, and the World champion, he shouldn't be losing to anyone on house shows, local boy or not.
And for those of you who think I'm biased, I'm french Canadian and from Montreal.
