i grit my teeth every time martha interrupts her! it felt like dame helen had to rush to get her opinion in before martha'd cut her off. i love listening to dame helen's english and i'd love to hear her speaking french. she could read the flipping phone book and i'd be entertained.

Helen OUTCLASSED Martha in every way: knows how to propagate cuttings, was absolutely charming to Martha, and so well-mannered, and kept the patter going...what a great actress & a great interviewee!

Indeed! It's a maddening habit! Some hosts think they are the guests! I hate when Helen gets interrupted again and again especially being so facetious and wonderfully articulate as she is! Gosh! In any case, for me it's a bit strange to see Helen playing the role of a perfect "stepford wife": somehow it doesn't fit to Fata Morgana!
