This is my professor.
He is odd but I love that in his work. Their is more character in being odd than in being unique.

James this is pretty hilarious. But also very impressive.
Enjoyed you in class. Very thought-provoking and a great enabler.
You're a good teacher and you deserve your job.

That is quite admirable! I've saved many of your videos in my favorites & plan to watch your channel too. Do you make video professionally? I asked this on your profile page-but I'm new here, so I don't know if you get notices. :D Thanks for sharing your terrific work

Fascinating. How long did it take to do the research? You sound very natural in many of those languages too. Outside of English, barely understand German. Perhaps what I found most interesting: hearing the words spoken in so many languages made it almost impossible to read along. It was as if my mind was only willing to do one or the other, when confronted so many language shifts. I'm shocked no one else has commented on this video yet. I am curious if anyone has had a similar experience.

It took over a year working with almost 20 language 'mentors'. I sing opera too, so the 'Euro' languages come easier than their Eastern relatives. I know there's a confusion created when reading vs. listening, it became more intense as the work became longer which was unexpected. It's a word for word translation based off of the sub-titles. I was trying to show my ignorance toward language by forcing myself to embrace something I didn't know or understand.
