Actually, I've had a number of experiences throughout my life.
One has to keep in mind that the film is NOTHING--and I repeat NOTHING!!--like the actual book.
The book awakened me to my experiences, and informed me of whatever is happening.
But the film enabled me to laugh at myself and to not take myself too horribly seriously, because it IS entirely possible that the visitors are merely rowdy, horny pranksters. They might be powerful beings, but what if they aren't? besides--Chris Walken :D

You should be careful, as they may still be monitoring all your communications. Their alien language no doubt being far different from ours, they might misinterpret the words "i wish a million serrated anal probes" as you pleading for them to come abduct you again! DX
