@mojosfun, the NRA doesn't have to "flood" the US with guns, they are already here. In a country of around 300 million, we have 70-80 million guns, more than ever before. Yet, accidental gun deaths and violent crimes are the lowest in decades.....how? I will tell you - "an armed society is a polite (and safe) society". You people like to make stuff up. US has 20 times the amount of handgun deaths and injuries that the next 22 industrialized countries combined. I was a psychologist in one of the largest detention centers in the country and I know that guns kill people. The NRA wants to flood US is guns and know that criminals get a hold of them. Guns should be regularly registered and owners licensed. What the NRA wants does not make us safer.
