  • @ADirtDiggler Ok, I don't usually respond to this kind of crap or call people out, but you caught me on the wrong day. Comments like this indicate that you don't know a thing about digital art - the computer doesn't "do the work for me", it's a tool just like a pen or brush, and it's useless without the individual skill and ability of the artist. Is a writer less of a writer because he uses word processing software instead of writing it all out on paper with a pen? You're a fool.

  • @ADirtDiggler I have heard the phrase "sour grapes" (further I've heard what it actually means and how to use it correctly - you haven't). Your offensive assertion is that the computer does all the work for me and there's none of my own ability involved. You're absolutely 100% wrong. Simple as that.

  • @ADirtDiggler The computer will never be able to tell a story that can only happen through personal experience. I believe the computer will make it easier artists who know the technology to tell many stories in their life time.

  • @ADirtDiggler The line weights are just one aspect of this drawing (computer programs such as Manga Studio do allow you to vary the line weights as you draw BTW and it makes it easier sure). What about composition, panel transitions, panel design, structure, anatomy, perspective, character design, and lighting. These are things that can only be worked out by an artist (a storyteller) not a computer.

  • @ADirtDiggler it already has happened - computer animation, poser, google sketchup, zbrush, using photoshop filters to make fumetti etc. all you need artists for now is the concept phase, and, predictably, most concept artists are pretty shitty draftsmen.

  • @UtubeHyperboleGuy perspective errors in construction. every artist makes them, but there are some bad ones here. a computer would have zero.

  • @cameronmstewart I wouldn't bother defending yourself from people who clearly never had any formal art training outside of finger-painting they did in elementary school.

  • @mittROMNEY666 Define what you mean by mistakes?

  • @ADirtDiggler What work is the computer actually doing for this artist? Break it down for us.

  • @ADirtDiggler You are a fucking idiot. What exactly do you think the computer is doing? Dumbass!

  • The guy who wrote those ill informed negative comments has made himself look ridiculous. I'm guessing he thinks that because you have recorded your hand made artwork that a computer has done it..That computer doesn't yet exist...Of course we must realize that some people's only kick in life is confrontation. Being right or wrong is probably irrelevant to him.

  • I used to Illustrate for Marvel UK. Back then it was all with a pen and ink..I would love to have had computer tools in order for my skills to shine through..to be able to make choices with your artwork so quickly allows you to become even more creative.
