We had a hardwood floor installation using a 4", 5" and 6" engineered wood on diagonal. This second video shows some of the installation, spreading wood flooring adhesive, along with an explanation of why certain aspects of the wood flooring adhesive are critical with the flatness of the floor. It also show some of our equipment, such as our Magnum Shears, designed to cut engineered wood flooring without dust. We also use CDC Larue PB-1250 industrial vacuum cleaners to keep the jobsite clean, along with the grinding and leveling processes.

Hi, the adhesive I recommend is "Mapei Ultrabond Eco 995." Remember though, the glue can only function as good as the subfloor it's being installed over. Your subfloor, whether that would be wood or concrete,should not vary beyond 3/16" in 10 linear feet, which is the maximum out of tolerance allowed. If you need to level your floor use "Mapei Ultraplan 1 Plus," with "Primer L." These leveling products are designed to be used with the "Mapei Ultrabond Eco 995" adhesive.
