I've Had it With the Rain
It's been raining like crazy
It's been pouring for days
I can't see out my window
Can't peer through the haze
When will there be sunshine
to end all this gloom?
I can't sit here forever
alone in my room
I need out, I need to breathe
Walk about among the trees
Just step out and feel the breeze
Lord, I've been stuck inside these four walls so long
I could use a little sunshine
I've had it with the rain
Well, there's nothing to do
but remember the pain
It was a day like today
when my pleads were in vain
She said what she said
turned around and was gone
I stayed awake through the thunder
awake until dawn
Let me out, so I can breathe
Walk about among the trees
To step out and feel a breeze
'cause I've been stuck inside these four walls so long
I could use a little sunshine
I've had it with the rain
I'm stuck in a maze
My mind in a daze
In so many ways
I need your love
So now that you've gone
And life must go on
I feel so withdrawn
Without your love
It's a beautiful morning
There are finally some rays
I can see out the window
The sun is ablaze
But it can't stop the hurt
but the past is the past
So I'll pray for some solace
and hope that it lasts
I need out, I need to breathe
Walk about among the trees
Just step out and feel the breeze
Lord, I've been stuck inside there four walls so long
I could use a little sunshine
I've had it with the rain
I've had it with the rain
I've just had it with the rain
Really had it with the rain (X2)
