Heh, nerdbag. I think not, Michael. When discussing how JL played, we must remember their formative years, gigging around in clubs in England, and doing loooong shows in Hamburg clubs for drunk Germans. Their playing must have been necessarily fast and rough as they tore through the material. But dear God, it made them good musicians! I believe this is why they were head and shoulders above all of those bands who (quickly) came after Beatlemania.

@MrLennon231 Yes, of course, yet this video is all about the method, or styles, of John Lennon, and while it is a Ricky, speaks of the style of playing, and does not highlight the choice of guitar, plus John sure held the electrics fairly high also.
