1986 IROC-Z Camaro, 350+.060" (360~5.9L), 3.73 posi, T56 transmission, crappy worn out street tires. First time out to the 1/8th mile after adding lower control arm relocation brackets, adding new springs and stiffer Bilstein shocks. BIG difference.
1st Run: 9.18 @ 82.01 MPH, 2.32 60'
2nd Run: 8.895 @ 82.70 MPH, 2.09 60'
3rd Run: 8.899 @ 82.29 MPH, 2.07 60'
what rear end is in that camaro?

@ericg83z The rear end is a 10 bolt 7.5/7.625". It has a Zexel Torsen mechanical posi carrier out of a 2001 Camaro. It also has moser 28 spline axles, a full rebuild kit, moser wheel studs, a solid pinion spacer, 4.10 gears, and an aluminum JEG's girdle with support caps. Just about everything you can do to beef one of these up. It won't last, though. Haha.

Nice runs!! I see the 1st run was a 2.3 60' and the other 2 were 2.0x, how much faster do you think the lcarbs made it hook? Also which blisteen shocks did you use? Thanks

The lcarbs gave me about .15 better time in my 60'. For the price, they are worth it in my opinion. The first run I overpowered by just a bit on the launch. Once I get a decent launch, they really help. Also, between shift wheel-hop has drastically decreased, a big plus. The Bilsteins are heavy-duty, I forget which model. I'll try and get back to you about that, it's in my garage on stands right now, I'll check next time I'm under it.

Hey do you know how much HP your putting at the crank or wheels? I am looking to get a 350 to replace the 305 in my 84 Z28 and would like to know. Also do you think it would be easier to beef up a T5 or just swap in a T56

I haven't had it to the dyno yet, but the original build performance sheet suggested 360-380hp at the crank and around 400ft/lbs at the crank. Realistically though, I'd think somewhere close to 300rwhp is a close bet. Also, go with the T56, you won't regret it. You'll spend just as much beefing up the T5, and the T56 swap is not difficult at all. It's almost a direct bolt in.
