  • I have seen in May of that year in milan ... simply fabulous!

  • The primal quality of his live performance is as hypnotic as being ocean side. I love taking his material to an october east coast beach (new england) and listening through my cans. It takes me up off of this planet - takes me up to heaven (tiramisu)

  • Sometimes dense and dramatic, in others exotic. But always genius. Current and needed! This is David Sylvian! Particularly the opening and closing of this music is a catharsis (chills, you float and then returns ....)

  • Great !!

  • Just amazing...

  • EVERY SONG ON GONE TO EARTH BORDERS ON THE HOLY.........THIS ENTIRE ALBUM STILL HAS SUCH PROFOUND INFLUENCE ON MY LIFE........THIS IS THE RAW AND FECUND ESSENCE OF LIFE ITSELF........THIS RECORD TAKES YOU TO PLACES MOST PEOPLE NEVER GET TO EXPERIENCE BEFORE CROSSING THE VEIL..........

  • Thankfully the audio is excellent because the camera work is atrocious. I wonder sometimes just what people do when filming? Do they forget they have a camera???

  • david Sylvian è stata la cosa più bella che mi sia capitata irripetibile

  • My brother had just moved into his new flat and we were painting the place on a hot summer´s day in Denmark. The windows were open and "Gone to Earth" playing very loudon the grammophone. That was great, days long gone. Gone to Earth is still a stunning album

I have two copies of it plus the "Weather Box".

  • Io c'ero! A Perugia.

  • Thanks for posting! Amazing live performance: capturing and even expanding the atmosphere on his Gone to Earth album. Unfortunately, I personally only saw Sylvian perform live once, when he came to Amsterdam in '93 for his The First Day tour. I still remember it very well.

  • i can imagine the impact.... ocean side, october

    Yeah!
