Consider yourself lucky. I was 12 when "Mazes & Monsters" came out, and I had to watch it with my mother because she knew I was into RPG's. After, she asked me what I thought. I told her it was a great comedy.

She wasn't impressed. XD

I think that half the fun of playing D&D was that it was like underground back in the day.........now days its like a kids game, but I remember being afraid of telling people that I played, because I didn't want people to think I worshiped satan or something ROTFL!!!

You know, I wasn't around during the 80's, but other people were talking about this movie, so I thought I'd give it a try. It's not a bad film, and it really doesn't show RPG's in a bad light. Even this detective does a bad job of hating on them, because of his terrible dialogue: Detective "Mazes and Monsters is a far out game" Kid "It's just imagination!" Detective "Is it?" Uh, yeah it IS imagination.
