And people for fuck sake they didn't copy StarCraft or Zerg or whatever. The teams and units are based off the table-top game of WarHammer 40,000, which was made way before StarCraft or whatever. So, basically, StarCraft copied off of WarHammer 40,000.

@Voltage98ify Sorry dude Tyranids came first infact Blizzard got theyre ideas for Warcraft and Starcraft from Warhammer and Warhammer 40k. I love both games as im an avid Starcraft, WoW, Warcraft, and Warhammer player but its well known that Warhammer came first

tyranids might remind someone of zerg ONLY cuz the zerg were made 1st if the tyranids were made 1st everyone would say that the zerg were copy of tyranids!its not copy if it might look like one but if someone makes a nation that looks like zerg or are how to say....only flesh like...its not copy close to it but i wouldnt call it copy only close ideas

The art style between Tyranids and the Zerg are WAY different they are just based on the same idea that doesn't make either of them rip offs War Hammer Came first anyway :P

@RabidAnubis the two most obvious ripoffs were in my oppinion when Blizzard took the greenskin/bigjaw orcs from Warhammer and when Games Workshop took the (bug hive species with differently specialized bug variations) Tyranids from Starship troopers.
