  • Nice video, the horses got to do what they're meant to. We do sleigh rides with ours and the easiest way I've come up with to explain they are bred for heavy work and love it, I tell folks that question: it's kind of like a Labrador retriever, it's in their blood to swim or fetch, and they love doing it you don't have to force them. Same for the Belgians, the heavier the load, the better they like it, and they're mostly voice command. Plus if a 2000 pound animal doesn't wanna do something, ther

  • My father in law did the same kind of work with his brothers in the forest of New Brunswick. He recanted stories of his younger days when he saw your video. Nice job, Thanks

  • Great video horses are not worked hard but worked.

    Nice team. Content eating leaves.

    Good video.

  • @starkyrahorselover96 Abuse?? I don't see abuse. I see horses with their tails wagging who get excited prior to the pull. It's obvious they love to pull.

  • @starkyrahorselover96 What's cruel?

The horses are pretty smart and doing a good job. Only fault is being a bit too eager and not listen perfectly to the wohaa at all time.

The work they do are more meaningful than most ''sport horses'' work. And less forcing.

  • thats realy crule the even tho horses arent pretty nor smart i dont want them to be abused by narrow headed men like you

  • Some narration to explain the history and modern day benefits of using horses in logging would make the video more interesting to the layman.
