Finally, unlike Arab and Muslim countries which either expel non-Muslims or treat them as second- & third-class citizens, people of all religions & ethnic backgrounds are welcome in Israel. Arabic is an official language. Israel=8,367 sq mi. Arab States=1,893,401 sq. mi. The Arabs have rejected every opportunity handed them to build a state alongside Israel. It's time they start shopping for land elsewhere. Within nearly 2 million sq. mi, I'm sure there's something suitable for their purposes.

If the wall sorry fence is so effective even though it is nowhere near complete and probably never will be how come thousands of Palestinians get past it every day as illegal workers any one of them could be a suicide bomber. The wall was actually planned as far back as 1973 and there were no suicide bombers then. It is an apartheid wall that is how it is described in Hebrew not a security fence. lizzywyg I suggest you read the Likud Charter(Netenyahu the Prime Minister of Israel is Likud if you didn't know). It claims

the right to full sovereignty over all the land West of the Jordan in pertuity for the Jewish(not Israeli) people and rules out any kind of sovereign Palestinian state there. If that's the case it makes Israel a defacto apartheid state like South Africa use to be because it denies citizenship to people on racist grounds. Got that!

In1973 the UN passed a resolution on the crime of apartheid described as follows:- "inhuman acts committed for the purpose of establishing and maintaining domination by one racial group of persons over any other racial group of persons and systematically oppressing them." The International Criminal Court which Israel has yet to sign up to also has a definition of the crime of apartheid with a similar definition. Describes Israel's rule over the occupied territories perfectly!

Being a devout "Christian" does not preclude one from being a raging racist idiot. Refer to my original comment for the definition of apartheid. You need to learn the difference between fact and propaganda. Finally, ask any Arab in the ME, "If you could build a democratic govt, upon which nation's model of democracy would it be based?" they will answer, "Israel."
