totally agree! I'm teaching a few novice spinners now & I'm so rusty from years of not practicing regularly, that I'm getting my rhythm back while I show them & it's amazing how so many people are hung up on "right & wrong" ways to do things, the way I look at it, if you're being safe, & having fun, who cares about right & wrong? Nice video BTW =)

This video helped build my foundation for integrating Atomic planes into moves without tangling, and hitting myself. Thank you.

I just started with my glow poi and i must say your videos are really helpfull even though i still have some difficulty im sure ill improve as your videos come out i cant wait to learn more tricks as you come out with them thank you for the wonderfull and informative videos!

@MrCamille71 you pretty much have to just create ways to link tricks once you've learned a great deal of "expert tricks"... or just add beats to any trick - like a 5 or 7 beat atomic weave. linking two specific tricks is always my biggest challenge once i learn a new one. there's a guy on youtube that does a 16 beat fountain!

got it in about 15 min. still sloppy but i got it. excellent vid.

I learned this in 2 days.... nemesis?

@drgryz This is a three beat weave where ALL three of the right hand beats are done on a horizontal plane. Watch the vid again nuber. And this is EXACTLY the atomic weave. Looks like an atom doesn't it? Split time butterfly two beat extended weave is sometimes called atomic but THAT is the wrong name.

well is nice trick but i dont know then how many levels is after expert...

@nevisoul isnt the atomic weave vertical and horizontal
This comment has received too many negative votes show
well... to put it simply your atomic weave is wrong. Its simplified. the poi should not spin perpendicular in terms of vertical and horizontal they should spin at 90degrees to each other both vertically and you use a threat the needle/switch butterly to change planes.

There is no such thing as right and wrong. An atomic weave is a three beat weave in which the planes are offset by 90 degrees. Angle of plane does not matter. Just because other people teach it another way, does not mean they are more correct. Turn your head to the side and the move is identical. To be honest, i prefer the way this version looks, it's much more obvious that it's atomic.

What do you define as a atomic weave? Curious....
I mean, now your right hand is playing horizontal but is it still a atomic weave if you play both of your poi in vertical planes but in a 90° angle to eachother?
I must say that you do some sweet spinning :P

Thank you!
You're absolutely right, as long as the planes are 90 degrees apart, it doesnt matter which angles they are on. i personally like the horizontal and vertical because of how easy it is for an audience to notice the difference. The great thing about atomics is they look completely different depending on which way your facing too.
