  • There are many forms of impaired driving, talking on your cell phone, sleep impaired driving, drug induced driving, buzzed driving, kicking it with your friends and not paying attention, and the list goes on and on. All it takes is a fraction of a second for something.

I became a national motivational speaker celebrity author after my 5 year old son was killed by an impaired driver.

  • This hit me HARD. My aunt tht was pregnate, and cousin died from a drunk driver. Zadie was only one year younger than me. Now i am left in this crazy world with cousins 5 years younger and 8 years older. I was 5 at the time. My life changed and got turned arround, dealing with it haz made me come close to killing mi self to see them. I am getting a tatoo of them on my back when i am 18!!

  • DRINK ON MY BROTHERS

  • @wearEtnies20 i feel ur pain

  • he kind of glossed over the difference between serving a minor and serving an underage drinker. It would be interesting to know the difference. Once you are over the age of 18 a certain amount of personal responsibility kicks in.

There is also an additional contributing factor that causes death in accidents, failure to wear your safety belt.

  • well alcohol is a drug

    but texting and driving

i mean drunk drivers realize they are drunk and sometimes try to drive good, texters think they are driving good but arent

  • i drink but i dont drive cause im 13

  • My son was killed back in 82 when DUI laws and views were very different than they are today. The lady had alcohol in her system but was not leagally drunk and served NO jail time. There is no such thing as responsible driving for anyone under 21 dor is there responsible drinking and driving for any age.

  • dennisspeaks: I'm sorry to hear about your son. How was the person impaired? Did the person get jail time for it?

  • Drinking and driving is madness. I should know I lost my licence when over the limit. It is humiliating. It could have had tragic consequences. Get a cab. Or walk. Stay sober behind the wheel.
