  • @jerrybake458 whoa we got a Badass here ... :DDD

  • @jerrybake458 But thanks to digital instruments we can achieve to play music and notes at higher intervals, we can play in speeds that people can hardly play in real life. There's also the variation in sound waves, which is used in techno/synthesizers. But to me, simply playing isn't music itself. It depends on the person's heart and emotions. A digital instrument cannot convey such emotions even if it sounds happy or sad, its just kinda hollow like a wind up device in a way.

  • @jerrybake458 To me piano means not only can you listen and compose or play by ear, it means you can sight read and also have finger technique. Since I'm from a music family, the best ingredient is emotion or 'musical feeling'. Simply playing isn't enough, to play musically it has to flow like water. I like digital sometimes but most of the time its like listening to a robot play (not talking about the musician tho just the instrument). The sound isn't exactly natural i mean.

  • @r3dsilver11 Define what being talented is when playing the piano. I'm not saying this as a challenge but just as a neutral question, because I just want to know what others think. I'm brought up and taught by musicians who graduated from music school and I find it hard to believe people who never understood or have actually experienced piano at its peak in orchestras and call videos of people playing by ear as talent. Which I think it is.
