A few questions put to Stuart Ballard of Saveoursevern.org regarding a few questionable statements made on TV by Jonathon Porritt. Stu has a real love for the area ,and has been a vocal advocate for the both the ecosystem and those people who have a day to day practical relationship with this unique and wonderful environment.

  • I just want people to realise that there is a lot of misinformation being put out there to support barrage-based developments. It is my view that JP has become part of that. Why? Who cares, that's his problem. My belief is that the whole process is being steered by very well funded people who seem to have been carefully preparing the ground for a number of years. The evidence is out there, so go looking. There are some great options for generation.Tidal range is none of that.

  • Excellent. I will be sending people straight to this when they ask the question. About time things were explained properly without a huge contract on offer!!!!
