All sets were purchased new in their time. You can find many on ebay now and then or bricklink. Most of the oldest ones were purchased in Europe in the 1980s.

i like classical legos rather than new latest models

Agreed. The older method was to use existing pieces to create something. Nowadays, too often, Lego simply makes a new piece. Not nearly as creative and a lot harder to rebuild the sets into something different.
