In January of 2003, the Book, Surviving in Biafra: The Story of the Nigerian Civil War, by Alfred Obiora Uzokwe, was published in the United States. This is a book about the Nigeria-Biafra civl war. In April of 2003, the formal signing and launching of the book was held at the Holiday Inn, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA.
During the book signing ceremony, in a hall full of guests and wellwishers, Alfred Obiora Uzokwe gave a welcome address touching on subjects like why he wrote the book and what gave him the impetus to write about a war that he was 7 years when it started and turned 10 years when it ended in 1970. This short slide/movie shows pictures taken during the signing ceremony as well as an audio of the address delivered by Alfred Obiora Uzokwe, the author of the book.
@dapodokumentary After 700,000 Nigerian and their mercenary soldiers have been decimated by Biafran military? Biafra never surrendered their weapons for your information. Criminals like you and your yoruba lying, cowardly, treacherous cohorts will want to reduce it into Ojukwu/Gowon conflict but your infantile stupidity is reeking all over the earth. Awolowo was a criminal who stole Igbo wealth and opportunity for you. Your judgment day surely comes.

If the war was to prevent the annihilation of Ndigbo, why did they not get wiped out after losing. The war was more of a power struggle between Ojuwku and Gawon. War is bloody and I wish we never experience it again. Anyone that goes to war should expect death.
