  • Thank you for posting this. This is beautiful music. I wish I heard more sounds like this on the radio.

  • @userneedsname I agree with you.

  • Smooth & relaxing.

  • Definitely - I got this song in my car for those night drives when you just want to be left alone.

  • My name is Harris Lemberg and I am the composer of this song and that's me playing keyboards. The lyrics were written by David Hines. I worked with Geoffrey Stoner for several years in the early 70s. It feels really good to read the positive comments about Geoffrey and his music. Sadly, Geoffrey passed away a few years ago. God bless you Geoffrey. He was a great guy and a great singer.

  • I sampled this a while back.

    Love this track.

  • @kennydust Anytime, man.

  • I worked with Geoffrey at the Playboy Club in NJ about 1970 something.

Never thought to search in here for him. Amazing what you can find.

I have this album somewhere....... Sorry to hear he passed.

Good to hear him again. How time flys,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • I used to perform (drummer) with the Geoffrey Stoner Band when he was on Store Records, supporting a cover version of The Bee Gee's "To Love Somebody" recorded at Electric Ladyland Studios (NYC) engineered by Tony Bongiovi BEFORE he became the legendary producer! supposedly The Bee Gee's were played the single and they said that it was "the best rendition of the tune they had ever heard." no small praise & still coveted by Northern Soulsters in the UK.

  • @harrissimo Mr. Lemberg this song is so good I playlisted it.

If I play this with a few Terry Callier songs my mind will be nicely settled.

  • I knew geoffrey because my ex-husband used to play in the Geoffrey Stoner Band in the Chicago area in the mid-70's and I have thought about geoffrey many times and didn't realize that he had passed away. so very talented he was!
