  • Although it was only a practice run, the concept behind it was an excellent one but, rather than have a soundtrack, I think it would be far more better if the person behind the camera provided a commentary about the history of the route which could potentially be of benefit to those who are new to the area.

    Just a suggestion....

  • I think it would be a bit fast - you can't tell where you are anyways from the vid.

  • Is that kingsheath northampton to kingsheath birmingham? cos n towns one aint very nice and i doubt the brummy one is ne better

  • it's KH in brum to KH in Brum - it's a circle.

  • wasn't raining when i started, you just can't stop the loop. twas only meant to be a practice run, but I'm not sure i want to do it again without the three camera set-up i wanted to use... anyone want to fund new version?

    >Great Sir Digby Chicken Caesar soundtrack though. oh, yeah. bloody Mitchell & Webb pinching my ideas.

  • I have done the full circle, but not all in one go... and both times I started from Erdington. Some day I shall do it... some day I shall step up to the plate and conquer the 11. I dream of that day.

  • True bus expert are u a trainspotter aswell

  • @duff0286 Well yes, the number 50 route would have been shorter....seen as it's a shorter route. The point of this video is to show the longest bus route in Birmingham in 5 minutes, to give people a taste of what it's like. If you want to see the most frequent bus route in Birmingham, then he could have recorded the number 50.

  • Is this the greatest bus route in history?

  • I ♥ birmingham

  • They did steal this, you should sue them!!!

  • Thanks for posting this. I am looking to move to Birmingham from the otherside of the world, so it help me to see what it's like.

  • Lol as if u did this it must have beenboring. How long is the route 2.5 hours? Still funny enough with that soundtrack I think the 50 route would have been shorter

  • There still isn't a direct bus link between Bristol road at Selly Oak, the student ghetto around the uni, and Harborne - where there's actually proper shops and restaurants etc etc. It's such a ridiculous situation.
