新流星花园 New Meteor Garden: Wu Zun, Li Yu Chun, Superboys to be cast

The clip says that there has been rumors that Li Yu Chun might be cast as San Cai. My personal opinion is that this is complete BS, as she completely does not fit the character..plus it was previously rumored that she would be playing Dao Ming Si O.o (yes she is THAT tomboyish). Wu Zun is also rumored to participate, but judging from the previous ludicrous claim, this news is also a bit sketchy.

Also some things I have gathered from the news that are not mentioned in this clip:
Yu Haoming is almost certain to be playing Hua Zhe Lei.
Han Geng from Super Junior M has a 70% chance of being cast.
Wei Chen is certain to be in the series, although his role is uncertain.
Ariel Lin is repeatedly mentioned as a likely candidate to play San Cai.

i dont really want to watch the chinese version if the girl #1 is leeyuchun. how come would be her. isn't her a singer? y does she become an artist.

What I mean is they alrady had their own version, why can't they just stick to the "original" one? I fell in love with these characters and I hate to see other people characterizing it. They are just different.

If you don't want to see other people playing the characters, you could always not watch ;)

Yap I know but isn't the Taiwanese version the one introduced this to asian fans and global fans? Meteor Garden Taiwan started it all here in the Philippines and I think almost globaly.

The Taiwan version was a big hit, but that still doesn't mean they are copying them. If 2 series are based off of the same manga, that does not make the newer one a "copycat" of the older, more well known one.

In my opinion,i like all the meteor garden:taiwanese,japanese,kore­an and also i'm sure that the chinese version（湖南）will be a fantastic drama,i'm really sure of it!!!Fighting~加油！！ If you guys dnt like it,sOo........but hope that you'll appreciate it,plz!!! love the chinese f4,ur fantasy F4 and also shancai（杉菜），ur pretty good and beautiful~~~

I don't see anything wrong if Li Yu Chun is San Cai! But Ariel Lin also match being San Cai! Ariel Lin is so adorable! But if Wu chun is rumored to be in it I really want him to play as Dao Ming Si!! Just my opinion! ^_^

I've only watched Taiwanese version and I won't watch any other version. I liked a lot that one.
