  • Why would you place an Olmec head on a video containing an all Spanish piece of artwork?

  • @DerAnstifter, direct your question to ALRAesurrection. The original uploader of this video.

  • @advisorC101 I assume you are not aware of the use of YOU as an impersonal.

  • @DerAnstifter, As another good friend of mine says; "Assumption is the mother of all fuckups".

My use of it is hardly impersonal, since I preserved the video exactly as its author intended it with no alterations. He even thanked me for the small service of re-uploading over a hundred of his lost videos. I do understand why he did what he did in this video, however I'd prefer it if you asked him, and not me. Not that I wish to patronize you, but I'd be more worried about your own curiosity.

  • I think the listeners will appreciate this info:

This folia was composed by Antonio Martín y Coll, who was born on late XVII Century. It's actual name is "Diferencia sobre las folías" and can be found within his "Flores de Música" compilation book. BTW, if I remember correctly the instrument played in this recording is a Pellegrino Zanetti six-strings bass viola da gamba.

  • @advisorC101 Would you care to elaborate on the difference? I recently became interested in this type of music, and I want to learn as much as I can.

  • @advisorC101 No problem, mate.

  • @EmisoraRadioPatio, oh crud, you're right. I mistook this for something else by him. Never mind, I stand corrected.

  • @advisorC101 No, this was written by Spanish Baroque composer Antonio Martin y Coll in the early 1700s.

  • This is Baroque music, not Renaissance music.
