Dov Charney's American Apparel is known for its slim models and borderline pornographic spreads.

Now the faltering clothing company is looking for plus size models for their new range of XL sizes.

AA is encouraging fuller women to enter its "Next Big Thing" contest. The winner gets a modeling deal.

The contest isn't as empowering as it sounds. Bloggers feel the language on the website mocks curvy girls.

Besides, the average American woman wears a size 14.

Isn't "plus size" just the "average?".

Hasn't American size 14 become the new American average. Why yes of course, you are fat. 70% obese population. So soon fat will look slender and obese will look fat if you follow your own logic.

Unless the new fat, which was the old obese becomes sexy why not try and watch what you eat. Get out of your cars and walk. Try the gym it not only makes you look better you will feel better.
