@MovieMakerKeith awsum motor there, bud! I have the same motor (either a '53 or '54) that my Dad bought in 1977. It's on the back of a late '40's 17 ft. Princecraft aluminum boat that my Dad bought in 1975. Yes, these engine are easy to work on and mine runs like a dream also! Dad gave me the boat & motor in '99 and I still cherish this old combo to this day!
BTW, my other boat is a 1969 Thundercraft 142V (14ft.) with a 1985 50hp Merc... she goes like stink!!!
Hold onto that old girl!!!

ebay, craigslist, possibly a marina, or for the cheapest parts, an AOMCI (antique outboard motor club) meet near you
