708 - "2014"

In May i challenged my male students that were getting into trouble and in jeopardy of getting suspended before graduation day to write a song about their 8th grade year. The song was to encourage students not to let peer pressure affect their education and make it to their high school graduation in 2014. Students were put on behavior contracts and as long as they stayed out of trouble, i would allow them to perform their song at the graduation ceremony. I started out with a group of 5, within 2 weeks a fight broke out and my group was down to 4, so we recruited another member who ended up getting suspended 2 days later, still leaving me with 4, however within a week the fourth member got suspended, leaving me with a group of 3 who called themselves "708" (my classroom number) . The song title is 2014 done to the Notorious Big instrumental "Juicy"...
